Josephine L. Brazill, 90, of Tucson was called home to our Lord Jesus and was reunited with her husband Ed on Sunday March 17, 2019. Born August 27, 1928 she was the youngest of 7 children born to Gonzalo and Irene Martinez. Josie was born and raised in Winslow, Arizona and moved to Tucson after she married Ed Brazill, She raised 6 children; Yvonne Brazill, Christine Salazar (Pete), Mark Brazill (Leticia), Diane Flores (Richard), Rodney Brazill and Lisa Valenzuela (Luis). She had 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and 11 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way. She i proceeded in death by her husband; Ed, son; Rodney and great grandson; Gabriel. Josie was dedicated to her family and loved Our Lord and Savior. She started as a waitress at the Harvey House serving thousands of soldiers who stopped at the Harvey House before going to war. She then became a food service preparer for Sacred Heart. She loved dancing, singing, in the Mexican Choir and volunteering at the church. She was blessed with many extended family members and dearly loved friends. The family would like to personally thank Annie Figueroa, Rosie Gradillas, Sally Padilla and Sally Ann Barboa for sharing their time to help comfort our mom on her journey home. We love our momma and will miss her deeply but we know she is with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord. We will be celebrating her life at Sacred Heart, at 601 E. Ft. Lowell Saturday 23 rd. at 1:00 p.m. Please feel free to join us.
