Juan R. Castillo

Juan R. Castillo, 88, passed away on January 2, 2020. He is survived by his son, Juan J. Castillo; daughters, Francisca Degen (Charles), Irene Castillo, Teresa Castillo, Maria Buster (Edward) and Elsa Tadeo (Philip); brothers, Jose Hernandez and Isidro Hernandez; sister, Amelia Silva; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Maria Luisa Castillo and his brother, Antonio Hernandez. Juan was a faithful man of God who was dedicated to his family.  He kept to himself and remained humble.  During his younger years he was an avid soccer player and participated in soccer leagues locally.  In his past-time he watched classical television shows as well as his favorite baseball team, the Oakland A's.  He also enjoyed traveling to visit his family in Mexico.  

The Castillo family asks that in lieu of flowers, to please make a charitable donation to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
