Juan "Chino" Manuel Linn II, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on November 3, 2024, in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Born on October 16, 1981, in Tucson Juan was a vibrant spirit known for his generosity, ambition, and remarkable sense of humor.
He was proud of his role as a father to his children: Alize, Ariel, Fernando, Aaliyah, Juan III, and Anaise Linn. Juan found joy and fulfillment in the laughter and love of his family, proudly considering them his greatest accomplishment. His legacy will endure through the cherished memories he created with them.
Known for being a cool and intelligent individual, Juan formed everlasting relationships with everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel valued and understood, marked by his persuasive nature and exceptional communication skills. Friends and family alike admired him not only for his handsome appearance but also for his free-spirited approach to life, which included cruising around Tucson and exploring its many corners.
Juan is survived by his loving mother, Griselda Linn, and his siblings, Jessica Linn and Byanka Linn. He leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, Mason McGlone and Giovanni McGlone, as well as his maternal grandparents, Ricardo and Rosa Rubal, and his paternal grandmother, Margarita Linn. Juan's memory lives on through his nieces and nephews, Yariza Vega, Danny Vega, Reyna Romero, Julian Gherna, and Rey Romero, along with a multitude of friends who will miss him dearly.
Juan was preceded in death by his father, Juan Manuel Linn, who he admired greatly. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Services to honor Juan will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. A visitation is scheduled for November 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will take place the following day, November 15, 2024, at St. John's Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception following Mass from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Casa Blanca Venue.
As friends and family gather to celebrate the life of Juan "Chino" Manuel Linn II, they will remember a one-of-a-kind individual whose laughter and kindness profoundly impacted many. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
