Julia Coronel Soltero, 87, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 in Tucson, AZ. Julia was born on January 1st, 1937 to Pauline Santa Maria and Julio Coronel. Julia was born and raised in Tucson, Az. Julia worked as an Assembler for many years and eventually retired from Hughes which is now called Raytheon.
Julia is proceeded in death by both parents; Pauline Santa Maria and Julio Coronel, Husband; Emelesio Soltero Brothers; Raymond Lopez, Frank Lopez, Juan Coronel Sister; Carmen Lopez Colmenero and Grandson; Ernie Camacho
Julia is survived by Sisters; Gloria Garcia, Irene Aros Sons; Johnny Siqueiros, Epy Gonzalez Daughters; Rosie Siqueiros, Norma Siqueiros, Reina Soltero (Chris Villalobos)
Julia was the Matriarch and Queen of the family. Julia was a Grandmother to 11, Great Grandmother to 23 and Great Great Grandmother to 7. Julia was the Aunt, Great Aunt and Cousin to MANY both in Tucson, Az and San Diego, CA. Julia loved to travel and spend time with family. She was a very loving, giving and accepting person. She was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. She was a strong, fearless woman who lived life on her own terms. Julia was an active member of the House of Neighborly Service Senior Group. Julia enjoyed visiting with friends and family, and enjoying her favorite meals. Julia was an animal lover and gave a good life to many pets including her current baby, Chapo. Julia enjoyed playing card games with family and watching novellas, but most of all she LOVED going to the Casino and playing Bingo with her daughters and friends.
Julia will be extremely missed. She is so important and precious to many. Our hearts are hurting. Our family chain has been broken, but one day THE CHAIN WILL LINK AGAIN!
