Lorenzo M. Escobar, 53, passed away on April 20, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother Rita M. Escobar, brother Albert M. Escobar and Grandmother Guadalupe Perez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Fimbres Escobar, whom have been together for 31 years; sons, Lorenzo F. Escobar, Jr. and Nicholas F. Escobar; brother, Camillo Escobar; sisters, Guadalupe Escobar and Antonia Escobar; father, Albert Y. Escobar; and grandson, Nicholas Aven Escobar, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.He served in the Army Reserves for nine years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and children. He would always love to watch his grandson run around the house and do karate on him. He loved his dogs Guerro and Daisy and his newest edition Taco. He provided for his family by being an electrician and all around handy man. The jack of all trades and quick with his wits he would always have you laughing and enjoying life to its fullest. His love for children extended beyond his family and into the community as well. He was a coach for Tucson Mountain Little League for many years and also served as the president for 4 years. He coached for AYSO soccer for many years and also refereed many local club games including the El Pueblo Soccer Tournament. He loved to fish and hit all of the local lakes in southern Arizona. He was always in the kitchen cooking while watching his favorite movies from Selena, Dancing with Wolves and La Bamba. He enjoyed the casino and listening to his lowrider classic oldies.
