Lydia C. Obregon (Lily), 78 years of Tucson, Arizona was welcomed with loving arms to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lily was born January 15, 1939 in Buckeye, Arizona but resided in Tucson, Arizona. Lily is survived by her husband, Fernando V. Obregon; children, Susan Salgado, James Silva, and Cathleen Smith (Orlando Smith); grandchildren, Josiah Smith (Leticia Smith), Brooke Smith Martinez (Carlos Martinez), and Lauren Salgado; grandchildren, Isabella Morales, Mozes Smith, Gabriella Ramirez, Jozeph Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Johan (Emil) Martinez. Lily retired after many wonderful years of working for the City of Tucson, where she met her husband of 27 years. Lily loved and adored her family. She always looked forward to their visits. It would light up Lily's day when they would come over to go swimming and eat pizza. There isn't a moment that goes by that we don't think of you. You are the light of our lives and the fire in our souls. We understand it was time for you to rest. Though it is bittersweet to know you are no longer suffering, it is also hard to let you go. Your smile, wit, and charm will be forever missed... Until we meet again, we will hold your memory and love within our hearts. There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Chapels from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Services Entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels.
