Magda E. Parra

Magda Parra, 85, went home to Heaven on May 22, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by her children, Magda Baker (Douglas), Alma Lopez (Ricardo), Alberto Parra (Isela), Marco A. Parra (Stephanie), Luis Enrique Parra (Elizabeth) and Fernando Parra (Katie); grandchildren, Johanna, Erin Dee, Marco A., Renee, Ellynn, Lauren Elizabeth, Erika, Luis Alberto, Magda Carolina, Fernando Jr., Kevin Alberto, Pablo Nicholas, Karynne Isela and Andres Gerardo; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She had the distinguished honor of being nominated by her children as mother of year. Her beautiful memory will live on forever in every heart she touched. Her family was her only mission in life.  All her children called her “my mom” because she was mother to each one of us instead of all of us. She was an example for us to live life with class, respect and integrity.  She always expected excellence in everything we did.  Her message to us the day she left was to pray an Our father every night, love each other, not speak ill of each other and pray for the world. Rest in peace our sweetest mother of love.
