Margaret Duran Romero

Margaret Duran Romero was called home on June 27, 2022 at the age of 82. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her beautiful family who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest as she once did.
Margie was a native Tucson.
She was a wonderful person who was always there when anyone needed her. She also had lots of family and friends and was well-loved by many. Margie retired from Hughes Aircraft/Raytheon after 17 yrs with the company. She enjoyed her retirement surrounded by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, dining out and visiting with her family and friends. She was a movie buff and a collector of toys and vintage items, and of course anything leopard print.
She will be missed, but we are at peace and rejoice knowing she is with the Lord.

She is survived by her daughter; Elvia M. Duran (Daniel Rico) and Vanessa D. Garcia (Ryan) son; Micheal A. Astorga, grandchildren; Louis Martinez, Estevan Martinez (Estrella), Ariana Garcia, Dominic Garcia and Gaven Garcia, Great grandchildren; Jordan Martinez, Caleb Martinez, Matteo Martinez, Jocelyn Romero, "Kito" Romero and Zeniyah Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband; Allen Romero, sons; Steven A. Laguna and Mark A. Laguna, parents; Crispin Astorga and Rosa Rivera Astorga, brothers; Marcelino Alvarez, Joseph Alvarez, Gilbert Astorga, Albert Astorga and Delmiro Astorga.
