Margarita Miranda Capitain, age 92 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020. She was born to the late Ramón Miranda and Rosa Miranda on February 3, 1928. A loving mother and business woman, she worked many jobs including The University of Arizona Rehabilitation Department. Margarita was a hard worker that learned skills at an early age growing up on her family’s 165 acre El Potrero Ranch in Nogales, Arizona which included cattle, horses, hogs, chickens, many native crops, and medicinal plants. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She was a great story teller, and gave wisdom to all who visited her. She always had a large pot of hot coffee prepared and food for everyone, and many jokes to tell when friends and family stopped by to visit. She was just as compassionate with animals as people and tended to her garden of Aloe Vera, Herbs, and peach trees. In her spare time she enjoyed watching Spanish Novellas and re-runs of the Wheel of Fortune. Margarita has left a legacy of love with four children, Lily St. Nicholas, Rose Saint Nicholas, Debra Tolbert (Michael) , and John Nicholas. Grandchildren: The late Steven Prince, Michele Tolbert Bauer (Rob), Mark Tolbert (Amy), and Harmony Lowenstein. Her Great Grandchildren: Danielle Ryder, Zara Bauer, Maya Bauer, and Gianni Mansell, as well as her 4 Chihuahuas. There will be private services for the family.
