"With a very heavy heart and great despair today marks the first day without her love and presence. Defying the odds, exceeding the expectations, she survived the constant struggles for her health and well-being.

María Teresa Burgos González, a selfless servant of God, a great women of faith, love, and tenderness. A devout Roman Catholic with an abundance of beautiful talents, from her voice of an angel whose perfect harmony could soothe any pain or sorrow, whose voice stopped the masses and enchanted the many to her talented artistic pulse of mesmerizing artwork. With her gentle touch and her loving kisses, joyful laughter and her spiritual presence that touched and inspired many to follow the mystery of our most highest Savior.

Fearful of this day yet accepting of her comfort, our loving gracious mother is now resting, she has carried her cross long enough and has reached her destination. We will miss everything that is and was her, an outstanding wife and best-friend to my father, a tender yet fearless and strong mother, and a selfless kindhearted sister.

There isn’t enough words to fill the void you will leave behind, but as you taught me, taught us, is to always praise God first, family and never forget to help others. I won’t say good-bye as I know you will never leave us, but I will say thank you for giving me your time, wisdom and most of all, unconditional love."

Mi Amor Eterno

 

Con profunda pena y gran dolor, hoy se marca el primer día sin su amor y presencia. Desafiando las probabilidades, superando las expectativas, ella sobrevivió las luchas constantes por su salud y bienestar.

María Teresa Burgos González era católica, altruista, servidora de Dios, una gran mujer de fe, llena de amor, ternura y hermosos talentos. Desde su voz de ángel cuya perfecta armonía podría aliviar cualquier dolor y pena, cuya voz detuvo a las masas y encantó a muchos con su impulso artístico y fascinante. Su toque delicado, sus besos cariñosos, su risa alegre y su presencia espiritual que tocó e inspiró a muchos a seguir el misterio de nuestro Salvador.

Temíamos este día pero, sin embargo, aceptamos su paz eterna. Nuestra amorosa y amada Madre ahora está descansando. Ha cargado su cruz el tiempo suficiente y ha logrado llegar a su destino. Extrañaremos todo lo que es y lo que fue, una esposa excepcional, la mejor amiga de mi Padre, una Madre tierna y valiente y una hermana con gran corazón.

No hay suficientes palabras para llenar el vacío que dejas, pero como nos enseñó: Siempre alabar a Dios primero, a la familia y nunca olvidar ayudar a los demás. No te diré adiós porque sé que nunca nos dejarás, pero sí te daré las gracias por darme tu tiempo, sabiduría y, sobre todo, tu amor incondicional."
