Maria De La Luz Abarca Garcia, 78, departed this early life on April 17, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. Born to Manuel and Roselia Abarca, whom have preceded her home to our Lord. She is survived by her sons, Roman Garcia (Yvonne), Benjamin Garcia and Octavio Garcia (Genevieve); daughter, Roselia Kublin; brother, David Vargas Abarca; sister, Ofelia Abarca; grandchildren, Damian, Jacqueline, Nico, Geovana, Siena, Gabriel, Amaya, Nathaniel and Nicholas.Heaven received a humble and "Down to Earth" soul leaving behind a family that will deeply miss their beautiful and loving Matriarch. A Caring Mother and Grandmother who grew up in the ranch and farming community of Chiapas, Mexico. Her rural upbringing with no formal education didn't lessen the love and selflessness she gave unto her family. She was a great cook and had many skills like being able to tailor as a seamstress. She had pastimes like being a baseball and softball fan. She enjoyed "Novelas" and games like "Loteria". Her greatest joy was being able to spoil her grandkids for her family was her most precious treasure.Services will begin on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Chapels with a visitation from 8:00 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. Services will continue with a Mass Celebration at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church.
