Maria Del Carmen Bermudez Espinoza

Maria Del Carmen Bermudez Espinoza, 88, was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 58 years, Fausto P. Espinoza on April 10, 2017.  She was born to Francisco and Concepcion Bermudez on July 16, 1928.  She is survived by her sons; Luis Rene Espinoza, Jacinto B. Espinoza (Patricia), Fausto B. Espinoza, Francisco Xavier Espinoza (Bernadette), Victor Hugo Espinoza and Ramon Espinoza (Alma); daughters, Guadalupe Espinoza, Rosemary Balderrama (Victor), Sagrario Espinoza, Luz "Lucy" Espinoza and Gina Espinoza; sister, Gloria Bermudez Murillo; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Maria was a woman of strong faith and dedicated part of her life to serving God by becoming a Guadalupana.  She instilled these values into her children and was their biggest supporter. She was known for her delicious cooking, especially her beans!  Everyone that came to her home was fed if they were hungry.  She taught in her younger years and became a big fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Although she was very strong-willed, she was a lady of class.  Her toughness was equaled by her gentleness.  Maria was a good friend to many and touched so many lives with her loving heart.  She will be remembered as a faithful and supportive wife, a perfect mother, a compassionate grandmother and great-grandmother, a loving sister and a kind-hearted aunt. "Todo una guerrera!"  Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels.  Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Monica Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.  Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
