Maria del Carmen Vidal, 69, of Tucson passed away on June 21, 2018. She was born in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico to Francisco Enriquez Gonzalez and Trinidad Enriquez Vargas on October 15, 1948. She was surrounded by her family when she went to her heavenly home. She taught elementary school for approximately 5 years in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. She met her lifetime companion and loving husband, Manuel Vidal while vacationing in San Diego, California and married in 1972. She was a local business owner for 29 years. She was a fighter, had a heart of gold and welcomed everyone into her life. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family. Carmen was well known for her generous, selfless, humble, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, resilient, courageous personality and always led by example. She wanted others to feel the love she carried in her heart for everyone . We will miss having coffee with you, going to our favorite restaurant, and our family time with you mama.

Carmen is preceded in death by her grandmother, Luciana; father, Francisco; four brothers Francisco, Miguel, Marcos, and Martin Enriquez.
Carmen will be greatly missed by her husband of 45 years, Manuel Vidal; son Francisco Vidal; daughters, Maria Teresa Vidal (Chris) Metzger, Mary Carmen Vidal, Cristina (Kevin) Mancera; six grandchildren, Medardo (Frankie), Mariah and Nathan Medina, Ethan and Jazmyn Noperi and Vianca Mancera; mother, Trinidad Enriquez; two brothers, Juan Manuel and Ramon; seven sisters, Maria, Martha, Guadalupe, Trinidad, Rosa Armida, Lourdes and Gabriela along with many nieces and nephews.

María del Carmen Vidal, de 69 años de edadnació en Magdalena, Sonora, México el 15 de Octubre, 1948 y fue llamada al cielo con nuestro Padre eterno el Dia 21 de Junio, 2018. Ella fue maestra de escuela primaria por 5 años en Nogales, Sonora, México. Conoció a su compañero de vida y querido esposo, Manuel Vidal en 1970 mientras vacacionaba en San Diego, California y se casaron en 1972. Ella fue dueña de negocio por 29 años aquí en Tucson. Sus pasatiempos era ayudar a cualquier persona que necesitaba y pasar cada momento posible con su querida familia.


Carmen sera 
recordada siempre por ser generosahumildepensando siempre en otros antes que ella mismaconsideradacompasiva, un valor increíble, siempre quería que todos sintieran el amor que ella brindo y siempre puso el ejemplo para otros. Mama, vamos a extrañar tomar café contigo, ir a nuestro restaurante favorito y los días que pasamos juntos en familia.

Carmen es precedida en la muerte por su abuelitaLuciana; padre, Francisco; cuatro hermanos Francisco “Pancho”, Miguel, Marcos, y Martin Enríquez.
Carmen es sobrevivida por su esposo de 45 años, Manuel Vidal; hijo Francisco Vidal; hijas, María Teresa Vidal (Chris) Metzger, Mary Carmen Vidal, María Cristina (Kevin) Mancera; seis nietos, Medardo (Frankie), Mariah y Nathan Medina, Ethan y Jazmyn Noperi, y Vianca Mancera; madre, Trinidad Enríquez; dos hermanos, Juan Manuel y Ramon; siete hermanas, María, Martha, Guadalupe, Trinidad, Rosa Armida, Lourdes y Gabriela.


Sincere appreciation to Casa de la Luz Hospice, Southwest Kidney Institute (Dr. Teh-Li Huo and staff), Davita Dialysis East office, Camp Lowell Cardiology, Dr. Egbert Saavedra, Dr. John Carolan, Dr. Barry Kusman, Dr. Horace Noland, Dr. Moira Wristen, Tucson Orthopedic Institute, Dr. Michael Miller and many more nurses and doctors who graciously took care of her throughout her journey.
