Maria Jesus Garza

Maria J. Garza, 83, earned her wings on December 30, 2018 in Rio Rico, Arizona surrounded by her loving family.  She is preceded in death by her parents:  Francisco Ortega Alcantar and Maria Lopez Covarrubias; and brother: Francisco Ortega.  She is survived by her husband: Joe C. Garza; Sons: Francisco Roberto Ortega, Juan Rene Sainz and Antonio Sainz; Daughters: Perla A. Garza and JoAnna L. Medina; Brother: Guadalupe Antonio Ortega; Sister: Maria De Los Angeles Jimenez; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Maria Jesus loved to travel.  During her lifetimes, she pretty much got to go everywhere around the world with the exception of a couple of places.  She also enjoyed to read, especially the Bible.  She will be truly missed, but never forgotten by all those whose hearts she touched.  

Services entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels-Nogales.  Visitation will be on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prayer Service will take place during visitation 7:00 p.m.  On Monday, January 7, 2019 mass will be be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 a.m.
