Maria Guadalupe Vega, born December 13, 1956, went home to be with our Lord on March 4, 2020. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Maria and Gregorio Sanchez. She is survived by her two daughters, Alexis Monreal (Luis), and Brianna Vega. She was a devoted grandmother to her three grandchildren, Isaiah, Carlos, and Isaac Monreal. She is also survived by her six siblings, Christina Gonzales (Vicente Romero), Jose Sanchez (Zenaida), Gerardo Sanchez (Barbara), Martha Tovsen, and Gregorio Sanchez (Theona).
Mom was also an amazing Tia to many nieces and nephews who she loved as if they were her own children. Mom was a strong, loving and compassionate soul. She was a woman of a very strong faith in the Lord. Mom loved everyone she came in contact with. Although it hurts our hearts that she is gone, we know she is living and rejoicing in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not only me, But also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
