Maricela Martinez

Maricela Martinez, 50, earned her Heavenly wings on October 31, 2018 in Tucson surrounded by her loving family.  Survived by her beloved husband, Pedro Martinez; daughters, Zarina Martinez and Karina Martinez; sisters, Martha Patricia Luna (Joe Luna), Marcella Zuniga (Heriberto Zuniga) and Marylou Velasco (Juan Velasco); mother, Martha Felix; as well as many nephews and nieces that truly adored her.  Strong in her faith, she frequently visited the Virgen de la Sierra in Sierra Vista.  The beach was one of her favorite destinations and she cherished the time with her family whenever they would get together.  She often danced the night away at family gatherings. Maricela took pride in her appearance by dressing up and would enjoy shopping for herself and others.  She will be truly missed, but will continue to live on in our hearts until we meet again.

Services entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels.  Services are scheduled for November 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church in Nogales, Arizona.  Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. Mass will start at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow immediately after mass.
