Maritza Alexandra Arias, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, departed from this world on March 30, 2025, at the tender age of 27. Born on July 28, 1997, in Tucson, Arizona, Maritza was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her, remembered for her hardworking nature and wonderful work ethic.
Maritza took great pride in her education and was thrilled to graduate from high school, seeing it as a significant accomplishment in her life. Her dedication to her studies laid the foundation for the bright future she envisioned for herself and her family.
Above all, Maritza cherished her role as a mother to her three wonderful children, Joseph Anthony, Mila Alexandra, and Kaiden Alec. Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Maritza's nurturing spirit and boundless love for them were evident in every moment they shared.
She is survived by her loving children, as well as her mother, Alma Gonzalez (Mario), and her father, Jose Arias. Maritza shared a special bond with her sister, Claudia Arias (Francisco), along with her brother, Oscar Arias (Robert). The father of her children, Daniel Garcia.
Maritza's enduring spirit was reflected in the joyful memories she created throughout her life. She loved spending Christmas mornings surrounded by loved ones, joyfully opening presents. One of her happiest pastimes included going on cruises with her brother and sister, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and adventure. She found great pleasure in attending concerts in Phoenix, especially to see the Jonas Brothers, and shared many delightful Sundays playing cards with family and friends. Her love for music was profound, and whether she was listening or singing along, she infused every moment with her contagious silly and sarcastic attitude. Additionally, Maritza enjoyed leisurely afternoons engaging with her hobby of building with Legos, relishing the creative outlet it provided.
Maritza was known for her happiness and humility, always finding time for a well-deserved nap and relishing moments spent with her loved ones. Her enjoyment of life and her lighthearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As we remember Maritza Alexandra Arias, we cherish her memory and celebrate the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her legacy of love, laughter, and beautiful moments will forever resonate within her family and friends.
