Mark Alfonso Archunde, 35, was taken away from us way too soon. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Louise Urrutia; brothers, Lawrence Archunde (Mirna Medina), Joseph Urrutia (Angelica) and Caleb Urrutia; sisters, Sarah Urrutia (Michael Saenz) and Vanessa Urrutia; daughter, Mercedes Contreras, granddaughter, Kimberly Young; maternal grandmother, Roberta Real; nieces and nephews, Santiago Archunde, Tattiana Archunde, Lawrence Archunde and Julian Medina, Makala Urrutia-Battor, Avaiah Urrutia-Battor, Malaiah Urrutia-Saenz and Achille Saenz; aunts, Carmen Urrutia, Naomi Urrutia and Debbie Ramirez; uncles, Anthony Archunde, Ruben Archunde, Abel Ortiz, and Victor Da Rosa. Mark was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 14 but never let the disease define him. He lived his life to the fullest and made the best out of every situation. Always seen with a smile on his face and would always stand out in a crowd with his distinctive laugh. Being the eldest of his siblings, he became very protective and always encouraged peace amongst his family and friends. He had an eye for fashion and always listened to music. Burger King was his favorite place to eat and his little dog, XO had a special place in his heart. Mark is now free from his disease and has become a beautiful guardian angel for his family and friends.
