Martha "Dee Dee" Corella

Dee Dee Corella, 71, was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband on April 14, 2019.  The love of her life, Juan A. Corella, preceded her in death on October 11, 2005.  She is survived by her mother, Lucille Wofford; sons, Juan A. Corella (Ana Elsa), Sergio Corella and Francisco Corella; daughter, Maria G. Corella "Lupe" (Gilberto Martinez); brother, Wesley Thomas; sister, Susan Ramirez; grandchildren, Juan A. Corella, Mariana Corella, Paloma Corella, Allessandra Corella, Eric Teel, Guadalupe Martinez, Valentina Martinez and great-grandson, Carlos Garibay.  Such a beautiful lady with an even more beautiful soul.  She made so many wonderful friendships along her journey through life with her vibrant personality.  Known affectionally as "Dee Dee" to her grandchildren whom she adored and possibly loved more than her own children.  She was the perfect example of a loving wife and was passionately enamored with her groom whom she married on October 23, 1967.  Together they raised their four children with the upmost care and affection making many memories for them at their family ranch in Mexico.  In her past time she enjoyed going to the casinos to play the slot machines and especially enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas.  She cherished the time she spent playing card games with her close friends every Tuesday for over 40 years.  She maintained lush plants and flowers as well as ensuring the hummingbirds were regularly fed. In her younger years, she proudly represented Miss Arizona in the Miss World Pageant and was also nominated by her fellow contestants as Miss Congeniality.  Her peace-loving nature continued throughout her life.  She will be dearly missed but the amazing memories she created will always be remembered.
