Michael Enrique Montt

Michael Enrique Montt, born in Nogales Arizona on July 22, 1991, left this world on February 18, 2024, in the same place he called home throughout his life. Michael was a dedicated heavy equipment mechanic at Empire CAT Southwest for almost a decade, where he showcased his passion and skills.

During his time at Empire CAT Southwest, Michael completed the TRP Program, demonstrating not only his commitment to continuous learning but also his dedication to excelling in everything he did. He was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Michael's warm heart and willingness to go above and beyond touched the lives of many.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael's true joy came from spending time with his family and working on the ranch. An amazing father and a loving husband, he always prioritized his family above all else. Those who knew him will always remember how he would offer anyone a cold beer as a gesture of hospitality and friendship.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife Gema Montt, his son Michael Montt Jr., as well as his brothers Anthony Haro and Mark Montt, sister Monet Nunez, Godchild Leo Nunez, mother Alma Montt, grandmother Maria Teresa Torres, grandfather Jesus Torres, grandmother Norma Gloria Haro, and grandfather Armando Haro.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning with a visitation at 11:00 am followed by a Rosary at 11:30 am. Mass will begin at 12:00 pm and be followed by a burial at the Nogales City Cemetery.
