Miguel Angel Rios Romero, a cherished pillar of his family and a beloved figure in his community, passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 63 in Nogales, Arizona. Born on March 9, 1961, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Miguel lived a life characterized by love, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to those around him.
Known for his caring nature, Miguel was a good provider who put his family first in all things. As a loving father and grandfather, he created a warm and nurturing environment, ensuring that his children and grandchildren felt supported and valued at every turn. His legacy of kindness and commitment will live on through the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his sons, Carlos Rodriguez (Olivia), Miguel Angel, and Raul Rios, as well as his beloved daughters, Nuvia Rios and Michelle Rios. The joy he found in his grandchildren was immeasurable, as he embraced moments spent with Natalia Rodriguez, Carlito Rodriguez, Wyatt, Miguelito Rios, Paul K. Reece, Angel Joaquin Reece, Kayla D. Ortiz, and Elias A. Rios, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
Miguel shared a deep bond with his siblings: Melly Rios, Nena Marin, Connie Rios, and Maricela Rios, who remained close to him throughout his life. He also fostered strong connections with many nieces and nephews, including Carlos Rios, Roberto Pantajes, Raquel Pantajes, Gilberto Marin, Antonio Marin, Ivan Marin, Christian Marin, Jose Luis Ramirez, Vanessa Ramirez, Heriberto Sanchez, Cristal Sanchez, and Kiana Rios, who will remember him for his warmth and guidance.
For the past six years, Miguel enjoyed a loving partnership with Evangelina Rodriguez, who stood by his side as a source of support and companionship. Their bond was a testament to the love and joy they found together, enriching each other's lives.
Miguel Angel Rios Romero was more than a remarkable individual; he was a devoted family man, a steadfast friend, and a loving mentor to many. His absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we honor his memory, we are reminded of the love he freely gave and the countless ways he enriched the lives of those around him. We will be doing a visitation on November 14, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels followed by a Mass at San Felipe Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m.
