Paul Ray Peppers, 62, passed away on August 17, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Yvonne; sons, Steven Peppers (Yereth) and Hans Peppers (Aubrey); mother, Doris Willimont; brother, Larry Peppers (Jennifer); grandchildren, Easten and Kinsley Peppers; as well as many extended family members and friends. Proceeded in death by his grandson, Ethan Peppers; father, Clarence Peppers and sister, Connie Sue Peppers. After High School he was accepted into the Colorado School of Mines. He married his bride, Yvonne, on April 2, 1976 and promised her that their lives together would be one big adventure and never boring; he was true to his word. He took a break from schooling to bravely serve in the United States Army while being stationed in Germany for a couple years all while starting a family with the love of his life. Being aware of his own capabilities and because of his determination and curiosity, he returned to the Colorado School of Mines graduating in 1982. An amazing husband, father, and son who adored his grandchildren. He had a passion for Astronomy since he was a teenager and spent countless hours searching the night skies with his telescopes. An avid outdoorsman whose adventures included hunting, golfing, fishing, hiking and mountain climbing to name just a few. A true Renaissance man who was well-traveled through all 50 states, Canada, Europe, Chile, and the majestic lands of New Zealand. A retired Mining Engineer who lived life to the fullest but remained very private. His quick wit and sense of humor will stand the test of time. He was a jack of all trades-master of none and was always willing to impart wisdom without judgment and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
