Paula Nieblas

Paula Nieblas, age 94 of Tucson, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. She was born on February 12, 1923 in Naco, Arizona. At a young age Paula relocated to Vacuachi, Sonora, Mexico where she was raised by her father, Jesus Romero, and grew up with her brother, Cirilo Romero. Paula now rests in peace, reunited with her late husband, Alberto Nieblas. Family and friends were Paula's passion and delight. She enjoyed music, and had a love for plants and flowers, expressed by her green thumb. Her bold strength, spunky personality, and love of laughter will be remembered by all who loved and admired her. Paula is survived by her children and their spouses, Gloria & Lorenzo Lopez, Jesus & Ramona Romero, Francisca Salomon & Javier Favela, Maria Luisa & Martin Granillo, and Alberto & Artemisa Nieblas. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all of those who have reached out during this difficult time.
