With an unwavering dedication to her work, Paulina spent over 25 years at Capins store, where her infectious sense of humor and passion for life intertwined seamlessly with her career, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her light-hearted nature turned mundane routines into joyous occasions and her laughter echoed in the hearts of her family and friends, a constant reminder of life’s most precious moments.

A woman who relished every opportunity to bring joy to others, Paulina was deeply engaged in the fabric of her community. For two decades, she dedicated her time and energy to the senior center, serving as treasurer for ten of those years. Paulina welcomed each day as an invitation to embrace life fully; she not only participated in activities with joyous enthusiasm but also volunteered for twenty years as a telecare volunteer, ensuring that, even in her absence, the threads of connection remained strong among those she cared for.

Her greatest joy was nestled within her family; she was a nurturing force who never forgot a birthday or missed an opportunity to express her love. Paulina's legacy shines brightly through her beloved daughters—Lourdes Valenzuela (Salvador), Cruz Imelda Cervantes (Pedro), and Ana Nava (Gonzalo), alongside her treasured son-in-law Raymundo. She is also survived by her sister, Socorro Boubion, ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and gifted with hand-knit blankets and scarves that wrapped them in her love.

Paulina's talents extended beyond knitting; she enjoyed lively games of bingo, the thrill of competition a perfect backdrop for her engaging laughter which spread warmth and camaraderie around her.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Armando S. Leon, and a daughter, Irma L. Pacheco, whose absence carved a tender space in Paulina's heart. Also gone before her were her brother, Jose Mada, and sister, Cuquita Mada, reminding us of the family bonds that continued to shape her life and spirit.

The cherished memories of Paulina Leon, a woman who embodied humor, generosity, and unconditional love, will be honored at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nogales, AZ. A Prayer Service will commence at 1:30 PM, followed by Mass at 2:00 PM on April 11, 2025. Following these services, she will be laid to rest at Nogales City Cemetery, where her spirit will continue to illuminate the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.

In her passing, we do not merely mourn; we celebrate a life richly lived, now woven into the tapestry of time, a shining testament of love and joy that will unfailingly inspire all who remember her.
