Pete Nogales Sr. passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 62, in his hometown of Tucson AZ. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Pete came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Pete will be lovingly remembered and survived by his wife of 44 years, Dolores T. Nogales and children Evelynn M.N. Garcia, Ernestine Nogales (Elvis), Pete Jr. (Alex Nogales-Lopez), and Damian Nogales Sr. (Claudia). Brother, Tony Nogales (Celina); Sisters, Hilda Carpena and Betty Jean Cardenas (Manny). Brother-in-Law, Ernest Torres, Oscar Torres (Adeline), Armando Torres; Sister-in-Law, Lisa Ann Torres. Grandchildren; Sabrina, Anthony Jr., Samuel, Jasmine, Chris Jr., Niah, Brooklyn, Damian Jr., Jacob, Janessa, Davian, Mya Bella, and Nico. Great Grandchildren; Camila, and Guillermo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary C. Nogales. Brother, Frank Nogales Jr.; Granddaughter, Jasmine Marie Moore; Mother and Father-in-Law, Ernesto and Ramona Torres; Brother-in-Law, Robert Torres Sr. and Christopher Torres Sr.
Pete graduated from Cholla High School Class of 1976 and pursued his tradesmanship of Plastering throughout the US. Primarily in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and his most esteemed work on the Islands of Hawaii.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend. Known for his infectious laugh, love for the Greenbay Packers, and being the life of the party, he will be greatly missed by all. Most humble, Pete took pride in working hard his entire life to support and provide for his family. Through his love and support, he solidified his role as a father figure to anyone in need.
The family wishes to send a Special Thank You to the staff at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson, for their care and compassion during his battle with COVID. Gone to soon, his family will ensure that his legacy lives on and will strive to make each breath count.
