Petra Altamirano Molina

August 22, 1936 — May 16, 2023

Tucson

Petra “Pat” Molina 8/22/2023-05/16/2023 Has gained her wings in Heaven and put her wings on earth to rest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially us her children. She was born in Hatch, New Mexico and came to Tucson, Az where she lived with our Dad to set up roots and raise their family. Our mother was a kind caring person who worked for a short time as a cook at Randolph Park Golf course and a few other little diners. She had many titles along the way but mom was the most important title! She wasn’t only our mom, she was our babysitter, atm, authoritative figure (to snap us into our right minds) nana, cook, our personal Uber, seamstress and most of all just a shoulder to cry on. She became a stay at home mom and wife for the remainder of her life with our dad till he passed away in 2002, and lived out her remaining years surrounded by her children. Our mom was such a source of inspiration to those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply and forever missed by all, especially us! Growing up our Mom was always there for us and her grandkids and give us everything we needed or wanted she made sure to go out of her way to give us. She was a woman of strong faith. She made sure to instill the importance of family, religion, hard work and making sure to do what was right. She was a special woman, she is preceded in death by Ernest C Molina, Elizabeth Molina and Salvador Salcido. She is survived by her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Children - Ernestine Perez (daughter) Linda Howard (daughter) Ernest A Molina jr (son) and Annette Molina (daughter). Grandchildren- Corinna Howard, Martin & Monica Salcido Ralph Howard Jr. Briana Molina and Brandon Molina and many more, too many to name, with many great grandchildren. The rosary and viewing will be at Martinez Funeral chapels on June 9th, 2023 @ 8:00 am with mass @ 10:00 am at St. John’s Church. She will be laid to rest alongside our dad at Holy Hope Cemetery immediately after mass. Mom, you will always be in our hearts and part of our souls forever and ever! God needed you more than we did and now you are walking and dancing in Heaven with those you missed so much! We will forever miss you! We will forever be honored and very proud to call you our mom/nana! We love you tremendously! May you rest in peace!
