Reynaldo “Ray” Molina Montaño gained his wings at the age of 80 on May 26, 2022. Born and raised in Tucson. Leaving everyone heartbroken but with great memories we will never forget. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Norma S. Montaño, married for 50 years; son, Reynaldo Montaño and three beautiful daughters, Mary Liza Granillo (Manny), Cathy Gonzales and Cynthia Lopez; son in law, Anthony Lopez; sister, Sylvia Moreno; many grandchildren, Monique Soto, Bernadette Waddel, Rudy Bustillos, Justice Gonzales, Ava Gonzales, Anthony Lopez Jr, Daneya lopez, Mariah Lopez, Cianee Lopez, Anthony (Trey) Lopez and Issac Montaño; great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Leilani, Vivian, Alaka’i and Baby Anthony. He was the best dancing and drinking partner anyone has ever had. Although he’s not here physically partying with us, we know he will always be a part of us. He is now dancing with his loved ones up in Heaven. He was everyone’s favorite Tio and United States Marine veteran. The best dad, tata and husband he could ever be. Number one fan at anything his grandchildren did and becoming everyone’s “tata ray” at softball games. Leaving an imprint on everyone’s heart, he will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We love you so much and know you are at peace.
