Raymond Romero Casillas

Raymond Romero Casillas, Sr. "Mone", 86, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Carmen O. Casillas (Cuata); brothers, Ruben, Alejandro, Innocente "Chente", Narciso "Chicho" and Oscar "Okie"; sisters, Dolores "Lola", Lydia "Lily" and Aurora and his parents, Juan and Maria Casillas. He is survived by his sons, Robert Ortiz, John Casillas (Carmen), Antonio Casillas (Antonia), Daniel Casillas (Elena), Raymond Casillas, Jr. (Bernice) and Xavier Casillas (Mary); daughters, Edilia Pallanes (Bobby), Leeannia Gastelum (Aurelio) and her cat, "Sister"; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild; brother, Frank Casillas. Dad worked at Arizona Portland Cement Company for 40 years.  He loved hanging out with his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed reading his newspaper daily and lottery scratchers.  Dad showed pride in his gardening and yard work.  He was a wonderful father, grandfather, tio, brother and compadre to many.  Dad, you are finally with the love of your life.  We are going to miss you but you will never be forgotten.
