Raymond Joseph Maragni Sr.

Raymond J. Maragni passed away peacefully at his son’s home in Rio Rico, Arizona, Thursday, January 14th 2021. He is predeceased by his wife, Marie Grace Maragni (nee Notaro). Raymond was born in Brooklyn NY on September 30, 1937. He moved to Scotch Plains in the early 50’s with his family. He enlisted in the Airforce in 1955 and was honorably discharged in May of 1958. In May of 1956, Raymond met his wife on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ and married on June 7th 1959. They were married 58 years before her passing of October 2017. Raymond & Grace resided in Scotch Plains most of their married lives before retiring to Lavallette full time in 2013.
