Richard L Otero

Richard Otero, beloved husband, father and dedicated electrician, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024 at the age of 80. Born in Tucson, AZ, Richard dedicated 28 years as an electrician at the University of Arizona where his commitment and expertise illuminated countless lives across campus. 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Olivia O Otero, Daughters Cassandra Aguilar (Rick), Vanessa Peralta (Orlando), Giovanna Herrera (Pedro),Olivia Carmen Otero (Julian) and 8 Grandchildren. 

Richard will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic and his love for hunting, fishing and traveling. As well as, his love of music, dancing and a good time. Known for his big heart, Richard touched the lives of everyone he met. Everyone that met him, loved him and he undoubtedly will be missed by all. 

A memorial Service will be held at Saints Peter and Paul on July 3rd beginning with a Rosary at 1:30pm and followed by the Mass at 2pm.
