Described as strong, loving, hard-working, independent, and very dependable, Rita's presence in the lives of those around her was truly remarkable. She was not just an amazing mother and devoted wife, but also a nurturing grandmother who never missed a special moment with her family. Rita found joy in the simple things in life like spending holidays surrounded by her loved ones and tending to her home and garden.
One of Rita's proudest accomplishments was undoubtedly her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Her dedication to her family shone brightly through everything she did. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reymundo DeLeon; son, Reymundo DeLeon Jr.; and siblings Velia Dominguez Flores (Ricardo), Frances Dominguez Saucedo (Cosme), Ignacio Dominguez (Dolores), and Ramon Dominguez (Mary). Her memory will be cherished by her surviving family members: son, Jesse DeLeon (Irene); daughter, Rosie DeLeon Duran (Arturo); sister, Lupe Dominguez Garcia (+Rodrigo); as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and God-children.
