Robert Charles Fisher

Robert C. Fisher, 75, passed away on July 1, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman “Moe” Schattilly, mother, Mary Jane Schattilly, daughter: Dawn Marie Fisher; gran-daughters: Erica Ann Delaney, Brittnee Jordan Miller and great-grandson Noah Alexander. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years: Azucena Fisher; daughters: Caroline Hoff (Lance), Mary Pena, Michelle Hoffman (Carlos), and Robin Fisher (Luis); Brother: Danny Fisher; Sisters: Cherry Fisher and Dawn Bernard; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Robert was a Petty Officer First Class (PO1) in the Navy for 21 years. He served his country proudly in the Vietnam War. He met his wife, Azucena, during his service in the Philippines. Robert enjoyed his wife’s cooking the most. He worked for Raytheon (Hughes) for 21 years as a machinist. Known to his family as “Pops”. He could be found at the casino as that was his favorite past time. Pops was a family man. He made it a priority to take care of his family always. He truly loved his grandchildren and joked around with them a lot. One thing his grandchildren will miss the most are his BIG hugs and kisses. He may be gone physically, but will forever live in the hearts of all those he touched. Services entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson.
