Robert Perez Ochoa, beloved husband, son, father, brother, tata and friend, passed away on March 9, 2024. He was born in Tucson on May 27, 1967. Robert dedicated his life to his work as a lifelong drywaller, showcasing his dedication and skill in every project he undertook.
Outside of work, Robert's true passions shone through. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he exuded loyalty and fervor for his team. However, it was the love he had for his family that truly defined him. Robert found the greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored and cherished.
In his leisure time, Robert found solace in coaching baseball, instilling values of teamwork and sportsmanship in the players he mentored. Despite his allegiance to the Cowboys, Robert also had a soft spot for the Dodgers, cheering them on whenever he could. Football held a special place in his heart and brought him immense happiness throughout his life.
Robert will be deeply missed by his surviving family members: his wife Rebecca Ochoa; children Robert Ochoa Jr., Clarisa Ochoa, and Jaquelin Robles; grandchildren Damien Carbajal, Sereniti Rodriguez, Arizmae Ochoa, Zariana Ochoa, and Ehlani Ochoa, Irma Escajeda (mother); as well as siblings Frank Ochoa (Rosa), Mary Ochoa, Clara Marquez (Victor), Frances Ochoa, Irma Ochoa, Norma Pitman (Jason), Susie Gonzalez, Maggie Ratiff (Ron), and Theresa Cervantez; step-sons; Andrew Ball and Aleczander Ball.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Ochoa.
His unconditional love, unwavering support, and kind spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
