Robert Tinsley Jr.

Robert, "Boogie", "Lil Bob", "Bobby" Tinsley left us too soon at the young age of 25 on Friday, January 26,2018. Robert was born on August 20, 1992 to Carmen Romero and Robert Tinsley, Sr. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend to many. Robert was polite to people, good humored, intelligent and so much fun! Boogs loved music and chilling with family and friends. He was a gentle soul who wished no one any harm and tried to do no one any harm. Lil Bob's true nature was one of sensitivity. He had one of the biggest hearts you could ever see crammed into one person. Because of that, he often gave of himself, whether it was his smile, his time, his strength, knowledge or just a hug. He would often pop up on you just to check on you. These were his coping mechanisms because it was actually your smile or company that got him through his struggle day after day. His temperament was a blessing to all who knew him as he never gave into ego or conflict. Its been a blessing to watch him grow from a little chubby baby boy with the most precious big, soft, curly hair you've ever seen into such a handsome, smart and resourceful young man who set goals for himself. He graduated with honors from Nosotros Academy in 2011 and we were all so very proud! What Boogs wanted more than anything in his young adult life was to have a family of his own, to experience the closeness and value that having your own family brings, but still he took joy in the hopes, dreams and accomplishments of others. A young man that thought of God, Family and Friends before himself. His thoughts in his last moments were of others. He took steps to ensure that all of those he loved understood that his decision was not a reflection of them. He loved so hard he wasn't equipped to handle the cruelty of others in this world and lost the battle within. Do not compound the sadness. If you want to Honor Lil Bob Live! Listen, Learn and Love! Love harder than you ever have before. His legacy will not be how he died but rather how he lived! Loving completely, unconditionally and compassionately! Forever we Love and Honor you
