Rodrigo "Boy" B. Guerrero, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend passed away on October 24, 2024 in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Born on June 1, 1964, Boy was known for his unique sense of humor, laughter and warm spirit, traits that endeared him to all who crossed his path. His presence lit up the room, he was always ready with a joke and a cold beer in hand.
Boy's love for life was evident in the way he enjoyed the simplest of pleasures. He took immense joy in cleaning and landscaping the yards of his beloved family and friends, with care and affection. An enthusiastic cyclist, Boy loved to ride around town. He built and repaired bicycles for his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed his morning cups of coffee with his brothers.
A man of many talents, Boy was a little handyman who had a knack for repairing bicycles and lawnmowers, bringing smiles not only to his family but to many in the community who appreciated his selflessness and willingness to help. His friendly demeanor made him a familiar face wherever he went, and his loyalty to friends and family knew no bounds.
Boy found great pride in his daughter, Toni Guerrero. He is survived by his siblings: Lino Guerrero, Martha Guerrero, Amalia Leeth (George), Ignacio Guerrero (Monica), Ernesto Guerrero, Eufemia Castro, Hector Guerrero, John Guerrero (Brenda), Christina Guerrero, and Art Kingman (Barbara), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lino and Angelita, and by his brothers, Felipe Guerrero and Frank Guerrero, as well as his sisters, Elvira Leeth and Ana Tono. Their memories will remain a treasured part of his legacy, a testament to the love that formed the foundation of his life.
Visitation for Rodrigo will be held on November 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 PM. Located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, Arizona, the chapel will serve as a gathering place for those wishing to commemorate a life filled with laughter, kindness, and unwavering support.
As we bid farewell to Boy, let us remember the joy he spread, the laughter he shared, and the love that will forever linger in our hearts. He touched many lives with his genuine spirit, and although he has departed from this world, his legacy of love and friendship will endure.
