Rogelio Robert Alvarez

Roy, 63, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on April 30, 2018.  He was loved by many family members and friends. He loved his L.A. Lakers, Raiders and Linda Ronstadt. We all have many fond memories of Roy, especially his "moonwalk" and silly dancing to Elvis Presley. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved family and "Big Red." R.I.P., Roy we love and miss you. Roy is survived by his mother, Julia Valdez; girlfriend, Betty Guth; brother; Richard (Elizabeth), sisters; JoAnn (Mary Carmen) and Gina (Ernie Badilla), nieces; Elizabeth Carrasco (Gorge), Christina Harrison (Maurice), Monica Alvarez and Priscilla Alvarez (god-daughter), nephews; Richard Alvarez (Sandra) and Santiago Badilla, great-nephews; Fernando Gutierrez (Alyse), Rogelio Alvarez, Alejandro Gomez (Maria), Richard Alvarez, Dwayne Harrison, Maurice Harrison, Malakai Harrison,Carlos Alvarez-Molina and Nikkolas Alvarez-Molina, great-nieces; Gabby Garcia, Mya Badilla, Drea Badilla, Elisa Alvarez, Araceli Alvarez and Eliana Alvarez, great-great nieces; Gianna Limon and Belle Limon, special friends; Darlene Lopez (Richard), Carmelita Valadez (Gene), Betty Ann Villasenor, Abbie Lopez and Nikki Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father; Rogelio Alvarez and Eugene Valadez, grandparents; Lorenzo Alvarez, Carmen Valdez, Emma Arvizu and Gabriel Arvizu. Celebration of life will be on Monday May 27, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Chapels from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Fernando Gutierrez.
