Ronald Gilbert Mendez

Ronnie was born on September 28, 1952 in Tucson Arizona. He went to be with his parents Alfredo and Rosa Mendez and his brother Fernando Mendez on October 13, 2017.  Ronnie was an avid animal lover and traveled all over the United States as a horse trainer. He played guitar with the original Changitos Feos and was a loving member of our family. He will be greatly missed.  Ronnie leaves behind his siblings Lori Mendez-Ahlers, Sylvia Natividad, Alfredo Mendez Jr., Ofelia (Billy) Ochoa & George (Becky) Mendez, many nieces, nephews, family & friends. The family wishes to thank our  sister Sylvia Natividad who took such loving care of him.  Pallbearers will be Alfredo Mendez Jr, George Mendez, Luis Garcia, Paul Natividad, Carlos Mendez, Luis Gonzales, Daniel Arbizo and Billy Ochoa. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20th, 8:00a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave. A Mass Celebration will follow at Santa Cruz Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
