ROSA E. MENDOZA, 88, passed away on April 14, 2021. She is survived by her sons, Martin E. Mendoza and Ricardo Mendoza; sisters, Maria del Carmen Gonzalez and Gloria A. Mendoza; brother, Jesus A. Mendoza; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. For those who wonder how special Rosa E. Mendoza was, let our family be the one to tell you she was more than just a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was more than a friend, a sister, a neighbor. She was a Wonder Woman with open arms. Growing up in Tubutama, Sonora, Mexico with her brothers and sisters was hard enough for her as a child. Rosa always helped her mother with chores, caring for her siblings and working. She was determined to make sure everyone was taken care of. With God by her side she was given the opportunity to establish a better life for herself and her family here in the United States. She provided for her two sons in Los Angeles, California as a Beautician cutting and styling hair. She was never a quitter. She was a go getter. Raising her sons on her own she then moved to Tucson, Arizona where she would forever call home. Rosa worked multiple jobs as a nanny, for the U of A, local hotels, and at the Kino Hospital now known as South Banner Hospital for 14 years. That’s not all, on the side she would also make clothes. Our Rosa was the type of person you had wish you kept around. A hard worker who would get around town by foot. A dedicated angel attending St. John’s catholic church every Sunday. Rain or shine. An amazing chief anyone could have ever asked for. Not to exaggerate but every holidays and birthdays were like a feast. She would cook great amounts of food that would have you wanting more. She was our shelter, our home. She has accomplished so much in her life because of her we are here today living our lives. She continued to have our family tree grow with her grandkids that she helped raised for years and soon after her great grandchildren. So many stories and memories were created with Rosa that we will never forget. Our hearts will forever cherish our Wonder Women.
Forever loved by: Martin Mendoza, Ricardo Mendoza, Nicolene Mendoza, Nicholas Mendoza, Deia Mendoza, Desi Mendoza and Family
