Nacida el 7 de septiembre de 1924 en Nogales, Sonora, Rosalba vivió una vida que ejemplificó el amor, la bondad y la devoción a la familia y la fe.

Rosalba fue una madre dedicada, conocida por su crianza ejemplar. Como reflexionan sus hijos, ella los educó no sólo a través de sus enseñanzas sino también a través de sus acciones. Ella les inculcó la importancia de la oración y el camino de la justicia, guiándolos de la mano de Dios. Su apoyo inquebrantable y su naturaleza amorosa crearon un hogar acogedor donde sus hijos aprendieron los valores de la compasión y la resiliencia.

Por muchos años Rosalba sirvió a su comunidad en la Parroquia Sagrado Corazón de Nogales, Sonora de 1932 a 1937, donde se hizo evidente su dedicación a su fe. Ella fue una devota sierva del Señor, que tocó muchas vidas a través de su compromiso con su comunidad religiosa.

Las oraciones y celebraciones de la vida de Rosalba se llevarán a cabo el 26 de septiembre de 2024, comenzando con el velorio en las Capillas Funerarias Martínez en Nogales a las 9:00 a. m., seguido de un servicio de oración a las 11:00 a. m. Se llevará a cabo una misa en su honor en la Iglesia Católica Sagrado Corazón a la 1:30 p.m., concluyendo con su entierro en el Cementerio de la ciudad de Nogales a las 3:00 p.m.

Rosalba was a dedicated mother, known for her exemplary parenting. As her children reflect, she educated them not only through her teachings but also through her actions. She instilled in them the importance of prayer and the path of righteousness, guiding them hand in hand with God. Her unwavering support and loving nature created a nurturing home where her children learned the values of compassion and resilience.

For many years, Rosalba served her community at the Sacred Heart Parish in Nogales, from 1932 to 1937, where her dedication to her faith was evident. She was a devoted servant of the Lord, touching many lives through her commitment to her religious community.

Rosalba’s love for music and her joy in sharing moments of camaraderie with friends and neighbors were hallmarks of her character. She found delight in the simple pleasures of life and embraced every opportunity to bond with those around her. A person of remarkable strength, she tirelessly helped all who were in need, offering her heart and resources without hesitation. She leaves behind her loving sons, Gilberto Villanes, Eduardo Villanes, Victor Villanes, and her cherished daughters, Rosalinda Villanes Fernandez and Cecilia Villanes Yanez. Her brother, Heriberto Felix, survives her as well, creating an enduring legacy of love and support.

The prayers and celebrations of Rosalba's life will be held on September 26, 2024, beginning with visitation at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales at 9:00 AM, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM. A mass in her honor will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:30 PM, concluding with her burial at Nogales City Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
