Roxana " Roxy" L. Ashford

Roxana "Roxy" Ashford, 47, is now at peace after fighting a courageous battle.  She was reunited in Heaven with her father, Randolph R. Ashford, on November 15, 2018.  She is survived by her mother, Maria J. Ashford; sisters, Noralee Martinez (Victor) and Elicia "Ely" Ashford; nieces and nephews, Victor "Adan" Martinez, Adalee "Adee" Martinez, Olivia "Oli" Cielto, and Olinah "Linah" Cielto; Godchildren, Olivia, Olinah and Joby. She also leaves behind her dogs, Bonnie and Clyde. Often described as a very special and unique individual.  So precise and articulate about what she would like done when her time on earth came to an end. So fierce and wasn't hesitant about sharing her honest opinions but very sentimental and selfless to those in need.  Although she seemed so strong and tough, she was a scaredy cat when it came to watching Horror Movies.  The 80's and Rock music were some of her favorite as well as riding motorcycles.  She always wished she could own her own Harley Davidson because she loved feeling "free" as she rode down the long open roads. Roxy always made an entrance and was the life of the party.  Her contagious smile will be truly missed by all those whose life's she touched.  As long as we remember her, she will continue to live in our hearts.
