Our beloved Rudy Valenzuela, 60, of Tucson, ascended into Heaven on September 19, after a valiant fight with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan; mother, Jovita; sister, Vicky; and brother Ernesto.
Rudy was a proud Alumni of The University of Arizona where he graduated with his law degree. He went on to practice law for 31 years but was best known for his practice of kindness and humility. Out of court and on to the field, Rudy was happiest in his softball uniform building comradery with his teammates. He spent his seventh inning stretches tirelessly dedicated to philanthropy within his community. He embraced people of all cultures, religions, races and sexual orientations and preached the word of love and acceptance each day. Rudy's Sundays consisted of Prayer and Packers and when left to call an audible, a bad Dad joke was always at the tip of his tongue. His list of dreams and entrepreneurial goals were as endless as selfless. His impact to all he loved will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
He is survived by Fiancée, Angela Rivera; her children, Tiffany, Megan, and John Paul; his daughters, Nicole and Melissa (Andy); grand-children, Andrew and Audrina; brothers, Juan, Eduardo (Norma), and Ricardo.
