Sammy "Sambo" Moreno

Carlos Samuel "Sambo" Moreno, 45, went home to Heaven to become a guardian angel to his loved ones on June 1, 2019 in Nogales, Arizona.  He is now reunited with his beloved daughter, Kailani Samantha Moreno whom preceded him in death. Survived by his loving wife who was his friend and companion for 20 years; Czarina Lopez Coronado; sons, Samuel Levi Moreno and Liam Charlie Moreno; sister, Marianna Hanlan; brothers, Kito Moreno, Fabian Moreno, and Pablo Moreno; half-brothers; Sejis, Mike, Joey, Marlo and Oliver; and his parents, Enrique P. Moreno and Panchita Moreno Portillo. He was also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Dolores (Malola) Garcia, Jose Luis Portillo, Enrique G. Moreno and Celestina H. Moreno. Sammy was a big San Francisco 49er Fan.  In his past-time he enjoyed riding motorcycles as well as hunting.  The amount of friends that have shown their support for Sammy reflects on what a caring and amazing person he was to everyone. A devoted father to his children, compassionate husband to his wife, loyal son to his parents, supportive brother to his siblings and a generous friend to many.  He had a heart of gold and so much love to give to others.  Sammy was a selfless man to others in need; making sure to give the best of himself to anyone who required his support. The beautiful memories made with him will be cherished forever in our hearts.
