Sharon's life was marked by resilience and love. Throughout her professional career as a Non Appropriated Funds Accountant at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, she displayed dedication and integrity in all her endeavors. However, it was in her personal life that Sharon truly shined.

After retiring, Sharon and her beloved husband Norman "Sonny" Melland embarked on many adventures together in their RV, exploring new places and making cherished memories along the way. Sharon's passion for baking was exemplified by the variety of baked goods she lovingly prepared during the holiday season. Additionally, she found joy in gardening, boating, fishing with Norman, and creating beautiful ceramics. She was also a big Elvis Presley fan.
Sharon bravely fought and triumphed over cancer – a testament to her strength and determination. In Norman’s final years battling illness, Sharon selflessly cared for him with unwavering devotion.
