Sonia Canez

Sonia Rodriguez Canez, loving wife, mother, sister, nana and friend passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 57.

Sonja was born April 10, 1962, in Tucson, AZ to Della and Romualdo Rodriguez. Sonja was an only child until the age of 12 and often dreamed of having a big family. Married at the age of 18 Sonja would have 2 sons and later on would remarry and have 8 more children, making sure there was plenty of love and kin to go around. Sonja was very passionate and devoted to her family. Sonja was know for her infectious smile, BIG funny personality and compassionate spirit. Sonjas' accomplishments were as big as her heart, having the blessing to be a Nana of 26 grandchildren.

Sonja was preceded in death by her mother Della and father Romualdo. Sonia is survived by her husband Jorge Mendoza, sons; Joseph, Johnny, George, Nathan, Julian and Julius, daughters; Angelica, Sophia, Sonia and Noaya, brothers; Patrick Crandell and Michael Rodriguez, sisters; Carmen and Elisa Rodriguez.
