Stella Marie Pimentel

Stella Marie Pimentel, 86, was called home to Our Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. Stella, a Tucson native, was a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whom loved her family unconditionally. She was a women of faith whom served at Santa Cruz Catholic Church by volunteering to clean and teaching catechism for many years. She also had a career at La Frontera for 35 years until she retired. She will be remembered has a great cook whom made the best tamales and stuffing during the holidays. Her joy in life came from serving our Lord at the church and also being together with her family. Preceded in death by daughter Sally Valencia.She is survived by her daughter, Anita Contreras; sons, Steve Pimentel Jr., Mike Pimentel and Ronnie Pimentel; 7 grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews.Services will begin on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson from 8:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. Rosary recited at 9:00 a.m. A Mass Celebration will follow at Santa Cruz Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with a burial interment after at Holy Hope Cemetery.Arrangements and services entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave. Tucson, Arizona, 85713 (520)547-3400
