Steven Anthony Washington Jr.

Our charismatic and beautiful son and brother, Steven Anthony Washington Ortega, Jr. was taken into Heaven on August 25, 2018 at the precious age of 8 years old.  Survived by his parents; Steven Anthony Washington, Sr. and Armida Ortega; sisters, Esmeralda Washington and Aaliyah Ortega; paternal grandmother, Chanda Pierce; maternal grandmother, Esther Ortega; cousins, Jennifer, Carlos, Marina, Julissa, Clarissa, Alyssa, Mireya, Marco, Evan, Valerie, Rubi, Romeo, Kaedance, Cooper, Lyana and Deon; several aunts and uncles as well as many friends that will miss Steven and his lovable ways for the rest of their lives. He was the only son who was born in the middle of two sisters that he adored.  The moment he opened those big blue eyes on December 17, 2009, he stole our hearts.  Steven had a contagious laugh that brightened up a room and his silly dances always made us laugh. Fortnite was his favorite game to play on his Playstation and he was an excellent swimmer.  A momma's boy but also shared a special bond with his daddy whom he was named after.  His life was full of love, laughter, curiosity, and learning. We pray his spirit lives on in each of us forever.  We  have comfort knowing that upon his death, he has given life to others.
