Tamara Kae (Kirkpatrick) Rulon

Tamara Kae (Kirkpatrick) Rulon, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at the age of 66. Tamara was born on August 7, 1958, and throughout her life, she was known for her outgoing personality and her ability to connect with others. She lived in Des Moines, IA most of her life. Until moving to Tucson, AZ.  In 2020 

For many years, Tamara dedicated herself to her career as a cashier, where she touched the lives of countless customers with her warm smile and friendly demeanor. Outside of work, she cherished spending quality time with family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter and cherished experiences. Those who knew her often reflected on the fun they had together, acknowledging that Tamara had a unique talent for finding herself in amusing situations.

Tamara had a passion for pop culture, frequently enjoying her People Magazines and became a devoted fan of Judge Judy. She also found joy in watching Ghost Adventures, a favorite pastime she shared with loved ones.

Her proudest accomplishment was her steadfast commitment to her family, whom she adored. Tamara leaves behind a loving family, including her sister, Christie L. McCollough (Richard), her stepson, Darrell Rogers, and several nieces and nephews—two nephews and five great nephews and nieces, along with eleven great-great nephews and nieces and many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Lon & Betty Rae Kirkpatrick, step-son, Mike Rogers, sister, Terry Rae Thompson, brother Brian Errell Kirkpatrick, maternal grandparents, Neta Johnson and Raymond Shepherd, paternal grandparents, Caroline and Errell Kirkpatrick.

Tamara Kae (Kirkpatrick) Rulon will be remembered not only for her vivacious spirit but also for the love and joy she brought to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever hold onto the cherished memories they created together.
