Teresa L. Bernal

Teresa L. Bernal, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 65. Born on August 12, 1959, Teresa lived a life characterized by her warmth, humility, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Known for her sweet and caring nature, Teresa was a helping hand to all who crossed her path. Her dedication to her family and friends was evident in every interaction, and she was respected deeply by all who knew her. With a humble spirit, Teresa possessed an innate ability to be a source of comfort and support, embodying the very best qualities of a sister and a friend.

Music held a special place in Teresa's heart, often serving as a portal to reminisce about cherished memories from the past. She loved listening to music, often sharing her favorite tunes with loved ones, which sparked joy and conversation, uniting them in shared moments of nostalgia.

Teresa's legacy is carried on by her beloved family, including her sons, Augustine, Jesus, and Arturo Martinez, her daughters, Norma Bernal and Claudia Martinez Landy (Jose), and her numerous grandchildren: Karina, Preciais, Fabian, Angel, Amiah, Izaiah, Noah, Abel-Ignacio, Marina, Alejandro-Julian, Antonio-Jesus, Amiliana-Cananea. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Jayvion and Alexzander, all of whom will miss her dearly.

In addition to her immediate family, Teresa is survived by her siblings, Engene Gonzales, Carol Lopez, Arlene Gonzalez and Linda Gonzales, who mourn the loss of a beloved sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio and Margaret Gonzales, daughters, Deanna Bernal and Veronica Bernal; sister,  Barbara Gonzales

Teresa L. Bernal’s gentle spirit and love for her family will be remembered fondly by all who had the honor of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, her legacy enduring in the hearts of her loved ones.
