Tommy Martinez

Tommy Daniel Martinez, age 40, from Tucson, AZ, passed from this life to his eternal life on the morning of Monday May 17, 2021 at Casa De Luz Hospice, due to complications from Stage 4 Cancer. At the time of his death, he was in the company of his beloved sister Teresa and his wonderful fiancé Lillian Danielle Venessa. 

Tommy was born on September 7, 1980, here in Tucson, the youngest child of Juan & Rosemary Martinez. 

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Juan & Rosemary, his brother Augustine (Tin) and his brother Teddy Joe (JoJo).

He is survived by his brother Tony (Lupe), his sister Teresa (Angel), the love of his life Lillian Danielle Venessa, and their two young boys, Benny & Evan, and his 3 nieces Selyna, Iliana, & Vanessa and 3 nephews Andrew, Adrian & Nicholas, great nephew; Rene, whom he loved dearly.

Tommy grew up loving the game of baseball, and he was an integral part of many All-Star teams while playing for American Little League. Baseball became a passion for him throughout his life.

In his latter days, Tommy was employed as a salesman and finance manager by Premier Auto Center, a career that he loved.

As the cancer progressed, Tommy received comfort in reading Romans 8:31, What may we say about these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and those who knew him.
