Trini Cota, aged 70, born on May 19, 1954, in Los Angeles, California was called suddenly to be with the Lord on November 11, 2024.
He is survived by his beloved partner, his Hunny Bun Anna R. Bustamante, his daughter Felicia Cota (Abel Salazar), and stepchildren Anna, Mario, and Marty. His grandchildren include Samantha and Eric Favela, Carissa Valenzuela, and Robert Banuelos (Jesha), along with his great-grandson, Trini Banuelos. He also leaves behind godchildren Gabriel Flores, Alicia Salazar, Natalia Cota, Valentino, Romao and Alexia Maestas. His siblings include brother Raymond “Benny” Cota (Celeste) and sisters Virginia Flores (Willie) and Marie “Yolie” Gonzales (William). He is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad Sr. and Mary Helen Cota, his brother Robert “Bobby” Cota, and his daughter Maria E. “Munch” Cota.
He was truly one of a kind, possessing a heart of gold and a deep desire to assist others, particularly children during the Christmas season. Although he often seemed to be in his own world, his spirit was always present with his family. Known for his crying moments, he would shed tears at the slightest gesture of kindness or joy. One of his most cherished possessions was the Los Vatos patch, which symbolized his pride in being part of the club. His absence will be felt by many, and he will be fondly remembered for his passion for his Harley Davidson. Bye God bless you, love you, and may you enjoy your fifth day in Heaven. De Colores.
